SolarHotty approached Tellumat with this magnificent concept. "Develop a solar photovoltaic (PV) solution that could connect directly to an existing hot water cylinder."

Tellumat deployed a large experienced team of engineers who developed the requirements definition from a systems engineering perspective.

With a history of developing Military and Industrial products, the team set about the task of developing a product that allowed a patent to be registered.

We developed the first product that allowed PV panel energy to be fed directly into existing hot water geysers without touching the existing plumbing. We achieved this capability without the product acting as an inverter.

We deployed maxim power point tracking (MPPT) in our solution to be able to maximise power transfer from the PV panels at all times.
